What started as a climber's side project to track routes became a platform trusted by sports clubs, gyms, and schools to manage their equipment safely.

It Started with a Chalk-Covered Keyboard

As a passionate climber, I spent more time at the gym than I'd like to admit. One recurring frustration kept nagging at us: tracking climbing routes and boulders. Which ones were fresh? Which were getting stale? When was it time to strip and reset? We needed a system — so we built one. A simple app that tied physical routes to a database, let us evaluate them, and fired alerts when it was time for a change.

That first version quickly grew. We added a feedback form so climbers could rate routes and flag problems. Suddenly, route-setters had real data to work with instead of guesswork.

Then one day, a safety inspector for sports gym equipment came climbing. He noticed the QR codes at the front desk and started asking questions. The gym owner connected us, and everything clicked. He needed to track equipment across multiple sports facilities — trampolines, ropes, benches, goals — and get notified when it was time for safety inspections or replacements.

That conversation changed everything. What started as a climbing tool evolved into a full asset management platform. That inspector could finally see the status of every piece of equipment across all the gyms he managed, plan budgets around replacement costs, and never miss a critical safety revision again.
